This week I'm working on beer and wine soaps that will be available in a month or so. Beer soap is pretty popular these days. The idea of using beer in soap is pretty neat in it's self, but did you know that it might actually be good for your skin and hair too? There have been studies around the world claiming that beer not only helps to control oil, but that it also softens the skin.
"I don't want to smell like a beer." Don't worry, soap made with beer doesn't smell like a beer. Our beer soaps are made with fragrances that compliment the very faint beer smell that is left once saponification (the process of converting oils & lye into soap) is complete. If you're interested in trying beer soap, raise your glass (or shower pouf) "clink". A Citrus Shandy bar will be available in a couple of weeks with more varieties to follow. I hope you enjoy our beer bars. Wishing you blissful showers and baths. -Cassie Disclaimer: I have no scientific evidence that beer helps to control oil or soften skin. At Pure Bliss Body Confections we use beer in our soaps for cosmetic purposes only.
